Secretary - Simon

“I am the secretary of the Chester Humanists branch and as such I am responsible for the administrative activity of the branch and a contact for Humanists UK.

“I have been a member of Chester Humanists for 6 years and have been a Humanist for a lot longer than that.

“I was drawn to Humanism to be able to meet with like minded people and to discuss and debate issues of concern to me.

“If asked, the main draw of Humanism to me is the use of reason to develop a position on an issue and the rejection of the supernatural.

“I am retired from a career in Product Development / Marketing in an energy company having done both my undergraduate and post graduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering.”
