About the event

Would we all be safer if recreational drug use was legalised? Why are some substances banned and not others? Are all banned drugs harmful? Should society dictate what people can and can’t do or should that be a matter of personal choice and responsibility? Would legalising drugs reduce the activity and influence of criminal elements and allow for better regulation and safer use - even raise tax revenues to help in other areas? Or would legalisation normalise dangerous substances?
