ONE LIFE SESSIONS
GETTING THE MOST OUT OF THE ONE LIFE WE KNOW WE HAVE
Six visually rich, themed talks encouraging discussion on a host of different subjects exploring some of life's biggest questions and considering a Humanist response.
Over six Thursday evenings starting @ 6:45pm and running through until 9:00 pm these interactive sessions are really thought provoking and inspirational. Attendees will meet other like-minded individuals and often form good social bonds.
Tea/Coffee/Water & refreshments are provided.
Session 1: 27 February - One Life and an introduction to Humanism
Session 2: 5th March - Finding out what is true
Session 3: 12th March - Decision making and ethics
Session 4: 19th March - Making sense of religion
Session 5: 26th March - Putting people first - seeking a better world
Session 6: 2nd April - Spirituality, Celebration and Community - Humanism in everyday life
If you are curious and want to examine your life and consider with others how you can enhance your lived experience and that of other people you will enjoy these sessions.
The sessions are delivered by members of Chester Humanists, a branch of Humanists UK
We do ask for a donation towards the running costs - please consider donating £30 to attend all 6 sessions - or if you prefer you can turn up on the door and pay £6 per session.
The sessions take place at Industry co-working 1 Overleigh Road, Handbridge Chester CH4 7HL.
