Humanism
Humanists take a naturalistic perspective on the world.
Relishing life and living ... humanists are inquisitive and curious .. want to understand life and make the most of the experience.
they also realise and acknowledge the continuity we share generation to generation.. the connections we have with all life .. past and present.
A huge part of the enjoyment of being alive is trying to make things good for other people and all life. Humanists share a real sense of belonging ... as part of nature and, in particular, as part of humanity.
A remarkably straight forward world view, humanism never claims to have all the answers to life. It offers a way of living that is at ease with doubt ... which is always open to new evidence and where people are always able to change their views if evidence supports a change.
The history of human life has shown that we make meaning in our lives and find individual sense of purpose. History also tells us how important it is that we do so. We find meaning and purpose ... different for all of us .. through trying to play our part .. perhaps making a positive change, helping other people, other life, adding to our knowledge and understanding, creating ways we can express ourselves how we can experience and enjoy life, being good at something that others can enjoy.
Humanism doesn't rely on versions of existence that have been made up - that rely on "faith" (a belief without evidence) and that believe in superstition and world beyond reality. But... people should be free to believe whatsoever they wish if they don't harm or restrict others.
If there were no religions in the world already, people could quite readily come to a humanist world view from life experience and taking a positive view on human nature - wanting the best for all humans and all life.
in its disbelief in superstitions.. in gods and demons, in ghosts and in practices like tarot and astrology, humanism is really liberating.

People identifying as humanist recognise the value of diversity and acknowledge that people have many different ways of looking at life - perhaps having been brought up in a tradition that requires them to hold a faith and hold to certain rituals.
Many humanists hold to the view that, people should live as they wish ... in as many different ways as they can. Such diversity helps us all. The only caveat is that in such liberal ways there is no undue restriction on how others can live and no harm to other people and life that sustains us all.
