About the event

Join us as we explore "A Confederacy of Dunces" by John Kennedy Toole. Over coming weeks the stories, twists and turns in this unusual book will entertain and provide food for thought and discussion.

Come and enjoy a morning of stimulating literature and conversation. Thinking Aloud is open to everyone but please register to attend as space is limited - if you can register on MeetUp that would really help us manage things thank you https://www.meetup.com/chesterhumanists/

This informal and friendly group meets in the meeting room on the first floor (within the library area) to listen to someone reading an extract, short story and often a poem too. Frequent pauses in the reading give us the opportunity to chat about what we've imagined/thought of/felt as we've listened.

Stories are read aloud and people can simply listen or follow the text. No one else need read aloud unless they so wish.…
